Our stay at Kastro in Skala Potamias was a wonderful experience! The cozy studios, with their tiled floors and air conditioning, provided a comfortable retreat for my family of four - perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring Thassos's stunning landscapes and ancient ruins. The kitchenette, equipped with a fridge and cooking hobs, allowed us to prepare quick meals before heading out for our adventures, ensuring we had the energy to make the most of our time on the island.The highlight of our stay was definitely the inviting pool area, complete with a hot tub and a stone-paved sun terrace where we could relax on the sun loungers, soaking in the Greek sun. While the pool bar was closed during our visit, the serene atmosphere and well-maintained grounds more than made up for it. Our little ones had a blast at the children's pool and playground, giving us parents some quiet moments to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.Katarina and Kostas, the attentive hosts, truly made us feel at home with their warm hospitality. From handling all our requests with care to preparing the best frappe we've ever had, they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. The free WiFi throughout the property was a bonus, allowing us to stay connected and share our adventures with friends and family back home.Located just 800 meters from the center of Skala Potamias, Kastro offered the perfect blend of tranquility and convenience. With free private parking available onsite, we could easily explore the nearby beaches, restaurants, and shops, immersing ourselves in the charm of the island. The stunning view from the terrace, along with the well-equipped self-catering units and private bathrooms, made our stay not just comfortable but truly unforgettable.Kastro Studios exceeded our expectations, offering a fantastic base for our family holiday in Thassos. The combination of great amenities, friendly hosts, and a prime location near the beach made it a top choice for us.
